Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
Kind David had a habit of praying three times a day. This is a good habit for Christians to have.
Praying upon raising will help to ensure that we get our day started right. Our focus will be directed towards God at the onset of our day. And if we pray for His wisdom and guidance at the beginning of our day, He will help us to make the right decisions.
Personally, I don’t pray much at noon. I pray in the morning and in the evening, specifically. But I do pray to God in my mind throughout the day. For example, when I’m tempted or perplexed. Then I shoot my petitions to the throne of God in the quietness of my soul.
At bed time, it is good to thank God for his blessings and guidance throughout the day. That is also when I pray for individuals on my prayer list. I keep a prayer list on my iPhone which I refer to in my evening prayers.
If we maintain these kinds of habits in our lives, we will have a closer relationship with God and others will be blessed by our influence, as well.

Ps. 27:14 – “Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.” God will give us the strength that we need in order to help us overcome any and all trying circumstances; but we need to be patient. God works on His timing, not our timing. We need to trust in the Lord’s wisdom in this matter, and He will not let us down.
