Many believe the Mayan calender predicts the end of the world on Dec. 21, 2012. This is my take on the matter. Personally, I don’t think it’s going to happen; and I’m going to tell you why. I do believe that the world is coming to an end; but I don’t think that the Mayans got the right date for it. I’m a Bible believing Christian; so I think that Jesus Christ is going to return to bring this sinful world to an end. However, I don’t think that anyone can predict the date of that event. The Bible even discourages such attempts. What’s more important is being right with God now.
